just a little static from low humidity and the correct material sweater, or from the car not having something grounded right

I’ve heard of people being really stupid and leaving the lazy latch still on and pulling out the nozzle and spewing gas everywhere.

I could Google it if you want a precise answer, but IIRC, they're tree nuts that work like soap. You can use them instead of laundry soap. Something to do with saponification...

He said, "If you had a bucket of gas and I dropped this cigarette in it, nothing would happen".
I then filled a big jar with old fuel, and set it out in the parking lot, and said, "Prove it".

He never did.
A friend of mine worked at a gas station when he was 15 and would take it a step further to prove it when people said he was crazy to smoke around the pumps.
He would put his smoke in a beer bottle between the pumps.
It's never going to light in a bottle anyway. It may the odd time If it was dropped in something open like a jar. If it was outside and had been sitting then the chances would be pretty slim. It would have to light before it hit the liquid. Gasoline isn't very explosive at all. If it was a metal bucket and I lit it with my lighter
It's going to burn down just like a candle. At work we use an oil jug and cut the top off and crawl under a log and dig a hole and stick it in the ground. General with some chain oil but you can use straight gas. Sandwich bag is good or wax paper works then start throwing you wet twigs on. Come to the coast for the most...rain that is.

This is the second person killed in a chainsaw related incident in PA iv heard of this year. A guy maybe 10 minutes down the road took a kickback to the chest/neck and bled out before the medics showed up. I'd like to here more about what happened in this incident with the exploding saw.

Still under investigation, I’ll keep checking.

Probably the magnesium case lit on fire. Pro saws should be banned, or they should switch to cast iron.

China needs an outlet for all that iron they keep churning out for no reason but to keep Great Leap Forward vintage steel mills open.

Next up: the new and improved Huztl 372XP and MS460 kits: they replace those useless and dangerous magnesium castings with sexy and safe cast iron. One reconstructive elbow surgery included in the price.
