Trouble with hands . . . Now 68, I've been dealing with aches & pains in various quarters for a long time. Leg cramps, arthritis, wrist and hand issues--been getting injections in my right knee for a couple years to keep it operating without severe pain. The older you get, the more it's just part of the deal. But I'm pleased to be upright & breathing, so I'll take what comes with the territory.
Harry, turnkey4099, is my hero. That guy is 85 and still getting after it.
Actually, I've found for years that whatever's bothering me, I notice it less when I'm working. You just power past the discomfort, and usually it fades from consciousness. Mostly.
But just in the last 2 weeks I've been plagued with pain in the outside of my right hand. It's located from my little finger back, and sometimes shoots up through the wrist. Can't find any position to make it go away. Work takes my mind off it, but I'm postponing most work (and much more) at the moment.
I blame it on whoever started this thread. This thing started about the same time.
