Brother in Law, who can trash any saw on any given day has a Dolmar 112 that has no compression. I assume leaned out and junked the piston and cylinder? It looks like it would be a fairly high quality saw and was used little. Still has the original bar. I can have it for the taking. Any source for parts for the older Dolmars or just have to watch Ebay and such? Thanks.

think I can help

Hi, I think I have an old 112 that had fall damage and needed some parts like the handle and covers. Its been sitting for many years and I don't recall if some parts were robbed. I do think it had a good, low hours piston, cyl and lower end. I am out of town for a day or two but will look for it soon and get back to you with a little more detail. John

The cylinder and piston assembly for the 112 is still available. Part number 114130000 and you can contact Central Power Systems in Columbus, OH to find the dealer nearest you. The 112 was a hog of a saw, but was discontined in lue of newer lighter saws. I have a 112 that when I get the free time I am going to rebuild. It too only needs a cylinder and piston.

I have a silver 112 that has never had fuel in it. Might bring it to the shop and put it on display.

I have bought parts for mine from markwell pawer equipment you might try them on google to get a number they have a very good service department

Brought the 112 home tonite and pulled the muffler. Looks like thermal meltdown in there. Need the whole kit, piston jug and rings.
