Just wondering if anyone else here owns a 650 magnum, if so how do you like it?

The should have named it the 651.
smithie55 said:Well to buy a 660 here is over $200.00 more (I got the 650 for just over $800.00) and we are only talking about 7 more CC's, so I guess it's all in how you look at it.
May not do the trick for oak, but it works fine on Douglas fir and alder, and has basically the same spec's as the 660 except for displacement.

He told me that they didn't really sell many 650's though, most people just order the 660. I'm not sure why they stock the 650's if this is the case. Maybe Stihl wants certain dealers to keep certain models in stock. Who knows? Maybe one of the "mere employees" here would know about that.

I was just in the shop today looking at this phenomenium, coz that's what it is.
Have the crouts lost their mind?
The thing weighs as much as a 66 but has a lot less grunt.
Now where's Sap, I'll have to let him know about this highly advanced German intellect making this saw. Nearly as smart as the 441 by the looks. :bang:
