Rich I have not seen Dolmar tec guy here for awhile. He would be a good one to ask. Id kinda like to know about the 50cc saws myself.

I contacted Terry Green (AKA: Dolmar Tech Mgr.) a few weeks ago. He said that the annual meeting was coming up and he would have info sometime around now.

Initially we were supposed to have the saws in late spring or early summer. Now they are telling us October at the earliest. That will be after all of the local fire wood cutter already bought new saws for the year.

Hi Russ, when you first get a Dulmar it is very dull, but after a few tanks it really gets up and talks, then it's called a Dolmar, cause it doles oot the wood fibre.

Ed, Is that your STOCK dolmar? Runs really well. Cant wait to see one after you work your magic on it.

yep it is the way she came to me from Dan, and the only saw that Gypo and i had that would run a 9 pin that was not 118 cc or more

that would be a smart move i think the new style is very nice to cut with so why change something that works

It is probably fair to mention that Ed can get the best out of a saw that can be had. As an amatuer, I am glad for meeting his and Dennis Cahoons type, cause they aren't afraid of putting themselves out there.

LMFAO
I really didn't think that you would post that picture.
I will explain that picture, to all of you AS members that missed Johns get together.
Marky Barky made a very impressive cut with his PP346. Ed came up with the idea of how to slow that saw down. He talked Dave into taking a leak in the fuel tank and we caught him in the act.
Look back at the picture again and you will see that we caught him in the act.

I signed up for an exercise class and was told to wear
loose-fitting clothing. If I HAD any loose-fitting clothing, I wouldn't have signed up in the first place!

From what I have been told the new 50cc saw is a small clone of it big brothers! AKA 6400-7900. The saw should not be available till late fall of this year!

It is a shame that Dolmar can`t get that saw to market before the amatuer firewood cutters buy their new saws for this year, but it`s probably better late than to have a false start if there are any issues to be worked out.

It sure would be nice if Mr Green could get a couple to Dolmar Dan early for a little woods mod R&D.

Hi Eric, I hope you don't think I was deliberately excluding anyone, it's just that I have to make Ed and Dennis think that I like them, so I can get chains and saws, but I think they are catching on to me. I just hope they don't stop dead in their tracks too fast though.
