I found an older bandit chipper in Brighton, MI that I am interested in buying. It's a bit of a drive for me so, I'm looking for someone closer by who would be willing to inspect/try it out and see if it's good or junk. I am willing to pay travel expenses plus something for your time.

If you know something about older bandits and could help me out, please pm me asap or call me at 605-228-9350. I am kind of anxious to move on this so, hoping someone could help me out very soon.

Thanks,

Scott

The chipper I'm looking at is a 93 bandit 200+ with 3200 hours, 80hp cummins and autofeed. No hydraulic lift cylinder or winch. It has a new professional paint job and I'm told it is excellent running condition. If everything checks out, what would it be worth?

My dad is about 20 minutes from there. He isn't in the business, but he knows a lot about machinery. If you can't find someone who is an expert with chippers let me know. I am sure he could get the job done for you if he has the time.

My aunt, uncle and cousins lived in Brighton right on the side of Mt Brighton Ski Resort or Lodge or whatever it's called. We used to ride our BMX bikes down the Mt in the summer. F' the jackarse show - that was hardcore and we were only 10 years or so.

I got a call yesterday from the MI bandit shop. They have a guy who will be in the general area today so he's going to take a look at it for me. Hopefully, he'll do a good job of looking things over and give it to me straight. (Some of these dealers have a tendency to want to fix things that aren't broken - just broken in).

If things don't work out or if I feel I need a second opinion, I'll let you know. I really appreciate the reply.
