Im wondering the same, it looks as though it would be a good saddle for prunings because you would not need to have a chainsaw loop or any really heavy gear up there. I do see possible locations for plenty of gear, and a handsaw on this saddle, the yellow jacket, and the tree fox.
Myself, im pretty sick of my weaver double dee floating bridge. its heavy, and also rides up on my like no other. for spurring, its great, but I need something for monkey-like pruning that doesnt kill me. Im going to buy the rec new tribe soon and try it out. at the very least, its a super lightweight saddle that will accomodate biners, pruning saw, and the other needed tools for a job minus a chainsaw.
