Anyone ever heard of AEI forester chain?

i went to the local saw show where i normally get my chains from. I know the guy so i just said i need a new chain for my 346 and he gave me AEI forester chain, its full chisel, Ive never heard of it though.. Normally i get oregon out there and i figured this was oregon to and i was so tired i didnt even notice the chain wasent the oregon that i normally get there. Anyone know anything about this stuff? i would call back out there and ask but if its not as good as what i normally use im sure hes not going to say that hes not carying as good of quality chain. . Thanks for anyhelp.

Never heard of it,but I'm sure someone here must have..Would be nice to hear a little feedback about the chain also,how do you like it so far??

havent had a chance to try it out yet.. im going to be putting it on my saw tommorow morning and then ill be able to let ya know.. ! im hoping that its good chain! . i did a search on here for it though and no one has said anything about it in an previous posts.. which makes me wonder if it might be a new brand. or just not worth talking about which i hope is not the case!

It is " Sandvik Windsor" chain. Just private labeled for Ahlborns>

They also make Tilton's Total chain now. It good chain, competitive with anyone's.

I'm trying to get the answer to this question as well. I just got catalog from Cutters Choice and that was the first time I heard of Lazer chain.

In the same vein, who manufactures the "Woodsman Pro" chain that Bailey's sells and is it of decent quality?

Windsor makes some of the Woodsman pro chain for Bailey's

Sabre Chain. I have used a coupe of loops of their chisel chain from cutterschoice and found it one of the fastest cutting as new. It will also bore cut very well. It is NOT some cheap offshore wannabe.
