The .325 NK chain seems like a good candidate for 8-9 pin. I have increased the cutting angle on my NK chain until it chews through wood, however because of the thinner bar, in some cutting situations the bar will vibrate with the greater loading (it goes from narrow kerf to extra wide kerf)
It would seem that reducing the cutting angle and increasing the chain speed would eliminate much of the vibration and still keep the cutting speed. It would also make it smoother cutting while limbing.
I have already ordered the 8 pin.
