I know with quickbooks, I can send invoices, via email or mail. Put quotes in the computer, add notes to customers files. I have all my customers in the program, with what I charge them for each service, and all i have to do is select what I want for each customer. I can print out reports for each service or each customer, or sales per salesman or region. It keeps all my mileage for taxes, takes care of my sales tax, and my payroll. There is so much it will do and its not really that expensive. If there is something more that you want to do, ask me and I will see if you can on my quickbooks for you. It used to take me two hours to do invoices at the end of the month. I now do them in like 20-30 mins.
