I am selling my ArborMaster training videos. I have the 5 part series Basic Training For Tree Climbers and it contains the following; 1.Getting Started, 2.Rope Installtion & Ascending, 3.Climbing Spurs, 4.Tying-In & Positioning, 5.Working the Tree as well as the like new unused workbook to go with the videos. I am asking $150 for the set OBO as it cost me $240 with the ISA member discount.

I also have Introduction to the Throwline: Equipment and Techniques, Introduction to Belay: Equipment and Techniques, Climbing Knots and Hitches, Introduction to Secured Footlock: Equipment and Techniques. There was a fith video in that series but my VCR ate it, it was about ropes. All of the above mentioned videos are in great shape and have they're original boxes and pamplets. I would like $40 for the second series.

I don't care what anybody says, those dam prices(not yours, Ryan) are way too inflated, outragously expensive.

It keeps the little guy from ever buying them!

I was the ''little guy'' and I bought them. I also went to some of their training courses, they are very good and I highly recommend them! Its all about priorities, I don't know how many times I've heard people say "I can't afford that" for some thing they need or (like health care or dangerous tree removal) and then they turn around and buy something of equal or greater cost. Me personally if there is some thing to be learned in an area that I deal with then I will go the extra mile to learn!! Knowledge is power!

Have you ever bought a video instead of renting one?

Do you realize how expensive it is to make videos?

I spent a week in Atlanta as a best boy when the Art and Science of Practical Rigging video was shot. Oh, I didn't get paid a thin dime. Got my room and board, nothing more. About eight seconds of video that I shot was included. Its of Sean Gere working a limb back using the Fishing Pole technique.

If something is important, money is found to pay for it. It all has to do with setting a value priority.

Tom
