It doesnt look it. Id think a shoe repair shop could cut of the rubber and glue a new sole on. I have a shoe repair shop in my town. What do ya think. .

No. I want a pair. For some reason i wear out soles fast. I think thats a lot of cash for a pair of boots that cant be resold

Yeah, I go through a pair of boots a year doing primarily removals wearing spurs.
Doesn't seem to matter if they are spendy or cheap.

Yeah my Hoffman lineman boots are great for removals. Great boot with spers. I use lace to toe combat boots for pruning. If i could put a rubber rand on them they would be awesome.

THERE 370 dollars! Yr off yr rocker

Yes, they are a little pricey. I've worn the hikers for the last year. Very tough stiff boot . I climb and wear spikes with them. The best feature is the rubber rand, I will never get another boot that doesn't have one. I've climbed in Red Wings, Vasque and cheapie La Crosse (not bad for the price) over the years and would rate the Kenetrek far above the others. I believe in buying quality footwear and these are it. The Italians know how to make a quality boot versus the chinese.

I also have the insulated version for the winter. Being able to have them resoled also sold me on them. I get one season before the soles need to be replaced. I actually boot the boots in Grove City, Pa. There is a outlet store there. Not sure where that is in relation to Lebanon. If you can get there, try them on. You won't be sorry IMO.

I have original arbpros and love them. The sole is different, but I am pretty sure they are not designed to be resoled. Haven't see the EVOs in person, but I don't think I like the look of those soles as well. They don't look like they are designed to be resoled either. Touch base with treestuff to ask them if they can be.

Other thought: I change into my Arbpros as I am getting ready to climb, and take them off when I am going to be doing a lot of ground work. My hope is not only that this makes them last longer, but it will keep them cleaner/less slippery to use in the tree. They are great in the tree, but honestly not as comfortable for walking around in. I have Keen hikers that I wear just around or Chippewa steel toes if I am using a chainsaw on the ground. The steel toes and arbpros stay in the truck all of the time and go on and off as needed. It is a pain sometimes, but nice to always have the right boot for the right occasion...keeps my feet comfortable and I think it is safer. Might take a total of 3 minutes out of the day.
