Most models now are the same as Husqvarna's saws. They have been merging slowly for the past 20 years. Jonsered usually comes out with new features first, then they go on Husky's.
You're may be closer than you think! Remember the Partner line that degenerated into the Poulan Pro. I ran P55's and P70's back in the '70s and felt they were about the best you could get. Used a P100 on the landing , lots of power, but a hernia and a half to lift it.
I have a P100 which powers a dinky stump grinder. I've only used it when no "real" stumper could access the stump. Most of the filter housing bolts have broken off from the vibration...other screws too. The powerhead may be very similar to the 2100 Husky....
Jonsered is owned by John Deere, who also owns Homelite, but Oregon bought Electrolux out yesterday, so now Hoover is thinking of buying Huskyvulva, who also owns Sears and Eatons, soon to be sold at Safeways and/or K mart.

How soon can I get a Husky at 7-eleven?? What could be better than a hot cup of coffee and a lingering cloud of blue husky smoke in the morning!!!!! WOW What a deal! The Hoosier
RBtree, the P100 is not a 2100 Husky but it is a Mcculloch. I think the exact same as a 1000. Displacement is similar to the 2100 Husky, but design is not. Mike
