Are Stihl Flippy Caps Supposed to Squeak and Leak?

0000 350 0563 is the large flippy cap we sell at work. Will fit all Stihl power equipment that use the large cap. Couldn’t find any info on o-ring material.

Are those the silicone jobbies, or just nitrile rubber?

With it sitting on the glass like that it appears to fit a 6" filler hole.

Nitrile

yes I’d say it’s most likely NBR. Possibly Viton but I haven’t found any documentation to confirm. NBR is probably the most common o-ring material for general use.
