Like Jokers I have saws built by Dan Henry, Ken Dunn and Ed Heard.

Ken, like Russ said is building saws (from what I hear) on a limited basis. Ed I cannot comment highly enough. He is a real good builder and standup person!!!

Dan Henry..........well..........I don't care to comment about!!!

Do a search on modded saws and spend sometime reading you will see how I feel about the last builder mentioned!!!

Try mine sometime.

That would be fine, What saws are you best performers? What type of gains have you had ? If memory serves me correct you stated you were a Oregin Chain exec. I had not heard anything about you modification skills. I am very interested.

This was his introduction post a few weeks back......

"Please feel free to ask me about any weird problems you may be having. I will do my best to solve them for you. I have 16 years experience as a factory trained Stihl and Husqvarna mechanic and also have a degree in Mechanical engineering (1991-1996). This is a free service. Cheers, Simon."

New Haven!? Big talk from people who had to steal a name from Connecticut. I hope the trees are bigger than the deer.

I`m allowed to be a big talker since I`m merely a squatter in this lovely locale known as New Haven, although I`ve been here in this area nearly 20 years. From what I understand, until I have atleast seven first cousins on the town payroll, I`ll continue to be a carpetbagger in this town. :D

How big are the trees? I`ll have you know that we have some of the largest red sumac and tag alders in the northeast! They are proportionate to our deer, some of which I will post photos of later. Besides, what do you know of our extensive QDM efforts in this area?

Big talk from a person who lives in a town named Pittsburgh!

Hi Bill,

Hasn`t Simon been Simonizer right from the beginning? You aren`t perchance confusing him with Oregon Engineer are you?

Simon seems like a cool dude, for someone that has an obsession with car wax!?...or what exactly does he mean when he says he`s been waxing his hotrod? :dizzy:

I asked him that in an earlyer thread, but he did not answer then either.

Some of the biggest Red Sumac and Tag Alder around. :p

You better watch out that Betulaceae (Alder) and Anacardiaceae (Sumac) family might catch up with the Pinaceae's (Pines, Firs, Spruces) out west.

I'll never forget watching this one forester here give a presentation of the PA forest to a forester from Oregon. He was showing the guy from Oregon some Black Cherry (Prunus serotina) and the the Oregonian laughed. He said we have real trees out west worth more than that little cherry. To which the PA forester replied, that little cherry is worth $20,000 (veneer stumpage).

Russ,

I was completely wrong on the identity. I thought I went back and edited the post this morning but maybe I didn't. In any event it was my mistake and I confused two seperate individuals. I do appoligize for that mistake.
