I am climbing using a friction hitch and one foot acsender. My question is, can I use a hand acsender and another foot loop with this system without losing my friction hitch for rappeling?

Yep, you sure can...

I am assuming that you are climbing a doubled line... I ascend with a foot ascender, hand ascender and friction hitch al the time.

Nope, I am using a VT with a boat swivel snap to tend slack. I see no reason why you couldn't use one though.

Just a word of caution, if you use a VT you need to be really careful and pay close attention to it while you are ascending. I've had it invert and not bite when I put my weight on it. If you pay close attention to it there is no problems ascending on it. If it inverts you need to stand up in your ascender and redress the knot.
