Try northern hydralics, I think they still sell them. Landlord still uses one to heat his wood shop. Thing is ancient but still does a nice job.
 
Yep they are still made for sure. That same design as the King heatalators. Sort of a firebox surrounded by sheet metal with a blower on back. They work fairly well but are wood hogs.
 
My Ashley stove is a little more contemprary than those boxes, but I suppose it uses a bit more wood than thr modern ones, but, it's kept us warm every Winter since we moved in this house in 1993. Thanks for the help guys.
 
mine doesnt burn that much but it keeps the house warm though.only has a 22" firebox.my old one had a 32" firebox,now that was a hog! but it was a heat blaster!! coldest winter kept the house over 75 all winter long!
