Asplundh changing colors?

Was on my way to dump a load of chips the other day and passed an Asplundh tree crew at a gas station. What was kind of odd though, was that they had a white bucket truck and the guys were all wearing green shirts. What happened to the orange trucks and orange shirts? Would have stopped to talk with them but was trying to do a fast turnaround. Anybody know if this is another division of Asplundh?

Maybe they are cost cutting and getting basic white for a discount. Custom paint adds a few bucks even if you get a lot of them.

I think white is the cheapest color too.

Iv'e noticed the same color change in NYS and thought it was odd..... I like my companies orange ####s they show up well in the tree and on the ground..... Mike

we have orange and white asplundh crews here in Maine. But I saw a brand new orange and black chip truck today so not to sure what they got going on.

Saw one in town here earlier today that was White too... Could it be they are sticking with Orange for chip trucks and White for Buckets?
