Asplundh Whisper Chipper Blower parts

Hi all,

Found this site searching for parts for the chipper. We changed out the old rotted hose from the blower to the chute and ran into a problem. The new section twisted things a bit, busting up the blower fan assembly. Now, I am trying to find a replacement for this. Problem is, I have only found new knives and other odds and ends for sale. Looking to see if you guys know of a good parts site. This site looks real and I will be spending lots of time here. Thanks for any help.

When mine needed a new hose I used a 6" piece of corrugated drain pipe.I cut slits in both ends.It fit right in there and never put any pressure on the assemblies.

Hmm, that sounds like a good replacement to that stiff metal pipe I used.

I used the same thing. Didn't even need to clamp it. Works great. I did need to have my metal fabricator make new "L" brackets to hold the flywheel cover on. The original had all broken from the vibration over the years. I had them make make them out of a milder steel, but thicker.
