Yes, the 111. My mistake. The 109 and 110 are both 43cc. The 111, 115 and 520 were all 52cc, but the 115 rated at 3.7Hp and the others at 3.3Hp. The 540 is 54cc, but only rated at 3.0 Hp. The 115 is one heck of a saw IMHO. I really like using mine, and believe it to be the best power to weight ratio ever in a 50cc class saw.

Tony something else thats been up in the air with the 520/111 is weather these saw have a chrome cylinder or nikesil. I know the 540 has the nikasil but what about the 520/111? Chainsaw collectors corner shows the 111 with a chrome cylinder and do you know when dolmar started useing nikasil?

My 110 is 45cc. I think it is the same case as the 111. The 520 is a great little saw.

Now that I think about it, my 110 may be 43cc. I'm not going to dig it out to see.

Bump. Any thoughts on the Makita DCS6000i?

No longer available. A little heavy for the power, but not as heavy as the PS6400. It is the same saw as the DCS6800i with less displacement. Basically it is the old Dolmar 116si/120si. I don't think there would be any issue with durability. I wish Dolmar would introduce something more competitve in the 60-65 cc range in the newer designs.

Thanks, Tony. I saw one on eBayware, was just curious, and my search here didn't get any results on the 6000i. The seller says he started it to test it, but never cut wood with it. With the crazy saw prices on eBayware, he'll probably get a decent price, but nothing close to the original retail price.

While I'm posting, I owe you and Dolmar Manager (I can't recall his name) an apology for one of my posts slighting Dolmar. It sounds like Dolmar is making some real progress in getting it together for the North American market.

Knot Whole, I just saw your question about the Jonsered. It's a little 525, and it threw a wrist pin clip. There is a nice groove in the cylinder and piston. My luck with Jonsereds hasn't been that great, but I love the red color.

I just want to see how the new 5100 stacks up against the 520i.

When you compare the weight of the new Husky 570 with the 6400, the 6400 looks pretty good, but it would be nice to see one in a mid-sized case and a cylinder with closed ports, something like the Efco CS62.
