Here's a couple of pictures I took at a job today. They have 60 acres right in the middle of the city.

These next 2 aren't really amazing but just something different:

The field that I was grinding in had just been bush hogged, all except the spot where the stumps were of course. This little critter was hiding in one of those grassy stump areas. I chased him around from stump to stump for about 4 stumps as I worked.

:hmm3grin2orange:nicest pics but them gaiters will get you tom trees

You saying gators because you think it's a swap? It's not. It's a very small pond on the homeowner's personal land. He had 60 acres there. The pond was maybe .5 to 1 acre.

I live just outside Jackson MS and we do have gators in this area. We have a large reservoir that the Pearl river runs thru and out to the gulf. (Kid Rock song is about Jackson MS and the Pearl River.) I saw a gator big enuf to spot from the road doing 50 mph. He was probably 6' - 8' long.

Great Pics!!! Looks like the track was even sitting down a little in that stuff. What camera are you using??

Was that a gerbil???

Is the pond manmade or natural? We don't have many Bald Cypress around, I only know of one place this far north, usually don't see them until down by Williamsburg.

Manmade and all the trees where planted about 50-60 years ago.
