I got no problem with the shoes on the loggers, now the guys climbing with out boots that did kind of seem off to me. I am of fond of having a good tread and heal to lock my gaffs in and keeping my foot where it should be.

Yeah he was but the guy teaching him also had what looked like low cut flat soled sneaker looking footwear on.

Wow.. I can't believe it. Wonder how many trees he could climb in a day, and how long he could stay up one.. Love to see him sitting in those spurs for an hour or so and see how his feet feel. They don't make (and sell) climbers boots for nothing.. some may not use when they start.. but anybody doing a lot of climbing (with climbers) will get some for the 2nd pair.. And NOBODY uses shoes like on this video.. nor would their employer let them.. in fact around here it is against the law.
