Back when Men were Men and Boards were Boards

Saw this house a few towns over from me and had to grab a photo -- some of those two-plus century old boards must be pushing 20":

My pepere had a large barn (collasped a few yrs ago) that had boards well over 2ft wide and 12-18 square posts 50-60ft tall. Was built in the 1800s.

These days it's tough to find spruce large enough to get anything over a 16ft 8x8!
