Why not get a little 9" diesel and get a 4x4 F-250 / 2500 with a dump insert? You should be able to fit into ALOT of yard with that setup. Like John said even if you get a little self-propelled chipper you still need something to chip it into......

Thats a really neat machine "treecycle"!!!

Stihl, I already have a 2500 and a 6'x10' dump trailer.....my plan was to get a back-yard chipper and I could put it on the trailer to take it to/from jobs. If the cust. doesn't want the chips I can just chip into the trailer. If they want the chips, I can just take the chipper to the brush and chip into the yard/woods. Plus, I've got very limited storage for big equipment. The back-yard chipper can be kept on the trailer.

OK. If thats how you want to do it. I personally though would've sold the trailer & gotten a little 10" diesel. Trust me when I say that 4" is a BIG difference and DIESEL is ALL the difference in the world. But whatever works for you. And with what you already have its not a bad idea.

try earthborne on easton road in warrington. ive been seeing a s/p drum chipper with dual wheels and im pretty sure a 4cyl wisconcin gas engine. its a woodchuck chipper its apretty neat piece of equipment but i would never have a use for it.

4" in monumental size difference with chippers too.
