issues with bandit 250 with jd 125hp
my 250 has been acting up , the engine starts to miss at high rpm and puffs white smoke,, it doesn't do it when its under load chipping but resumes the smoke show as soon as the brush clears, it has some codes stored.
spn 105 fmi 3 intake man temp high voltage
spn 174 fmi 3 fuel temp voltage high
spn 91 fmi 3 acell position voltage high
the john dealer thinks harness or ecu 1200$ ouch , i loosened the harness and wiggled wires when it was running to try to find a wire issue also took the connectors off and ck for corrosion but nothing they look mint, , this happened at around 700 hrs for a hour then cleared up now its at 900 hrs and also cleared up then the next day started again , any help 1200 for a ecu based on a guess is hard to swallow, jd say no way to test the ecu just replace, i did the fuel filter but it was pretty clean
