Bandit 250xp gears

We have worn out the gears for the chip chute height adjuster crank on our 250xp.

Is the replacement kit still available, As Bandit AUS want to sell us the whole assembly @ $460 vs a NLA kit with couple of gears @ $xx.

Is there a home grown fix that we've missed.

It's just a jack isn't it? With a bracket welded on each end? In my case I just bought a new jack and robbed the gears and handle, swapped them out.

I think its a Bulldog brand jack. Try product # BD500256. It worked on one Bandit jack I had.
