Got a second hand bandit 90 a while back, and it's increasingly stalling the feed rollers. Sometimes just one - either top or bottom, sometimes both.

Any clues to what's going on?
Thanks.

Ok.

I probably should have made a bit more effort to describe what's happening. It'll be feeding fine and then it will stall one or both rollers. Often when it gets to the leafy part of a branch, but sometimes for no apparent reason. Always mid way through a branch - you'll put a branch in, turn your back and then when you look back it's not feeding.

Well it may possibly be the valve mounted to the forward and reverse lever gone bad.
You can reverse the hoses if one wheel stops and see if it cause the other wheel to stop intead that prob means the valve is malfunctioning. Instead of getting a valve from bandit ,more money check the internet first. 150.00 is what I think Bandit gets.

I had to change a valve for that same reason . The one I had had a hydro filter that had about 3500 hour on it and there. Was all kinds of crap stuck in the valve

First, adjust the pressure over ride on the valve. If the rollers stop rolling when they are under a load then that is the most likely problem. You might want to service your hydro system. Consult your manual for that info. If that doesn't fix the problem you might want to just rebuild the valve. A simple $20 kit does the trick. It can also be your detent malfunctioning. Anyway ready your manual.
