hey jeff do you just sit on the computer and type all day and wish you knew how to do tree work hmmmmmmmmm.:dizzy:

Ha Ha!, Really? My profile is public, not hiding anything. Check me out. Started climbing in 1977. BTW, you can look at the time I post and see I am not 'puting' all day. So, are you a 'Hack' in disguise?
Jeff

Often wonder why people use the term fireman to discribe what they do when its more like a title, as being a fireman all to often involves doing jack.

I have family and friends all over the world who are firemen and its amazing how much time they have on their hands, and so much energy they have to do other things after they leave there place of steady employment (I find it differcult to honestly call it a place of work)

I have a Marine Buddy who is the Asst Chief in Lansing, Mi.
He is the first to say that they have it pretty easy..........90% of the time. The other 10% a different story.
His 10% is spent dragging someone out of a burning building. He has the scares to prove it.
Although many firemen take on side jobs, and can jack things up for others in doing so.
I have no problems with them.
 to all firemen, even if you do have a controversial name and a fire truck in your side business!
ANYBODY who runs into a burning building to save someone should get a pass and a little tolerance.
Down at the core, they are brave.

But I will say this, talking trash about the elders is a no-no. When the elders thro lumps, take them and move on, learn from them, your on here to learn and share, when you come to a tree forum with a fire truck and a name like that, did you expect anything different, thier way of vetting you, to challenge their knowledge and try to insult them for razzing you a little, not the actions of someone with thick skin. And you have too have it thick, to do what you do, especially if you run into fires AND do tree work!

I know its a little cliche but I don't think anyone other than the banks saw the writing on the wall , and I like most sunk alot of money into growth a few years back and until this year I felt the pressure daily of my mistake and lack of foresight , and as a father as well I would like you too think of the time that you have with your kids , and long after the questionable business decisions are forgotten they are all you really have to show for your life ... So if the bankruptcy if is beating you up all day maybe get yourself involved more with them , it helps me too turn off the phone and just be with them when all else is bad ... Good Luck ..

OU, sorry for your troubles, I have been there. I filed on medical bills when my son had cancer, didnt want too, but had too. The relief was huge.
Keep putting one foot in front of the other. You will make it through, soon you'll be looking over your shoulder at the past, make it only a glance, learn from the wrongs, focus on the rights.
The best advice I can tell you is to take what 101 said to heart.

I am not denying your extreme prowess in a tree but what kinda stuff , like dead trees hanging over a cliff, or trees that are on fire and need to put out and cut down simultaneously .....I love to hear about the extreme and I am not breaking balls either I really wanna know ...
