Bar groove

I have noticed when cleaning out bar groove alot of oil in the saw dust would this tend to wick to the chain when it gets hot ,or that it just stole the oil from the chain ??

How would the sawdust not get oily? No, I don't believe that a bar groove full of oily sawdust was a design element of the chain oiling process.
