Hi Folks,

Just went thinking about this. On Husky saws, the bar studs are smaller than on Stihls, then why not convert either to the other?

Just wondering... Would be easier!

I have sleeved the bolts on Huskys to use Stihl bars, seems like I had to modify them slightly to oil.

Stihl makes it easier to use their bars on brand x than the other way around. The small mount husky has the oil hole too far to the center for the large mount husky and the 3003 Stihl ones to work very well.

One guy had suggested putting flats on the Stihl bar studs where they are wider at the bar thickness then the studs can be twisted to accomidate the Husky bars. Plenty of talk on her about adapters to use the 3003 Stihl bars on other things.
