I was wanting to know if there is some way to tell if a bar is for the large mount or the smaller mount Huskies by the the part number. I'm wanting to get a couple bars for my 372 and seen some good deals on e-bay but don't know what mount they are for. Of all the sellers I asked, they don't know........just got the numbers on the bar and that's all they know. Thanks for any help.

Doug, fetch ChainsawBarMountCodes.pdf from Windsor's site. I think they share the codes with Oregon. "The last four digits identify the motor mount pattern."

Or you could just buy from CCD and tell them that you want a couple of bars for your 372 as bars and chains are generally cheaper there than anywhere else.

Ryan, that's where I'll probably get them if I don't find any in my other searches. Deals can be made on e-bay but you got to really factor the shipping. CCD is good to deal with. Got a saw from them for me and one for my brother.

Does anyone know how Husy part numbers match up with the mount?

Thanks,
Doug

Large Huskies take D009 bars. The small ones usually need k095. SLH 95 patterns (Echo , Poulan, Tanaka)are fatter in the tailstock and have different oil holes but they will fit the bar studs on the small saws and usually oil through the upper adjuster slot.

Doug,

If I understand you correctly you are wanting to know if the massive amounts of bars that show up on ebay will fit your saw. If you email me a part number I can probably tell you yes or no.

Bill
