Looking to find either stock replacements.. i'm getting an idea which fit with which saw.. unless theres some modern equivalents. Also would be interested in bar studs that are longer but would still fit.

this is not a "wanted ad" just scouting out for leads.

i'll discuss their uses further back in the milling section.


saw that "needs" one is a Jred 80.

saws that could use extended ones are a Jred 70e, 80, 111s and a Partner P85
 
ah... i finally translated the english to english and figured out i'm just looking for long nuts as far as an "extension goes". easy enough.

i could still stand to learn more about bar studs.. where they come from.. and how they interchange.

definitely need one for an 80
 
really got a good look at where the missing bar stud was supposed to thread.. was stripped right out..

ended up rethreading it... worked out well and gave me a few more options.

heck as long as i can get the stud through the clutch cover i'm golden...

guess i'm going to have to start machining my own parts...
