P.S. Scott - I happen to know that Bill already collect my "left overs" and will hold it for me until we bump into one another again...

For all of you that have been following my Hot Saw / Kart Saw story, I made it through my three cuts without a mechanical failure. We will count that as success for 2013.

I was there and have proof. I am the first guy standing to the left of the shield used for the purpose of which I believe is to stop a thrown saw chain. I was wearing the newest style of Dolmar cap available that I know of. I was there with my old man, and he was wearing a Ponsse cap.

I will try to post a video of Brian and Art running their beautifully built Mercury KB saw. It is a fine, fine saw

Another awesome time with a great group of people.

My contribution for pictures but unfortunately no names or descriptions unlike the great job Mark does with his.

Had to hand off my camera to a friend before the start of the Hot saw race, this time I finally got to be a participant instead of just a spectator. Racing a Hot saw for the first time was one heck of an experience and a lot of fun too.

Tried to get pics of every one but it didn't work out that way. Sorry if I missed you.

Videos are up and pretty much just from the Hot saw class.

Will be back today, but I'll try to walk around the rest of the show, haven't done that yet. So I won't be at the display all day, but will be around the saws for a good part of the day.

I ended up loading Roger's Vonruden hydraulic saw in my trailer to come home with me. I have always wanted one to hook to my JD B. Roger got this on ebay and asked if he could try it on my tractor. It is heavy and clumsy, but I still like it. Doesn't seem to pull the chain as hard as I thought it might, but I'll read the manual and see if we have it set up right.

There were some very close times this year including one tie, which was settled with a saw off. Our 2 time keepers Les and Steve Z4lunch were top notch with most of their stopwatches being within a few 100ths of a second. Times in the classes had most saws in the same ballpark.

I shot 33 videos Saturday and I am in the process of up loading them. I set them uploading to youtube last night and at 1pm only 10 were done. I am going to try and post those 10. They all have generic titles and no description for now. When I get a chance I wil go back and edit with the details I remember.
