Basket case 281 xp

Got it from a buddy with a bad top-end. He had it looked at and was told a ring retainer let go and scored the piston and cylinder? I picked it up for $20 minus a bar and chain and figured I could just make a 288 xp out of her.

Yes...the ring stop pins do sometimes come out and can wreck the piston and the cylinder

OK what do I need to know about this? I have never rebuilt one and don't wanna mess this up. Any secrets or just slap it together? Do I need a new jet in the carb?
