BC1400 2005 with 405 hours. Should I buy it?

I found a 2005 BC1400 , looks new , only 405 hours. The guy is asking 19k.

Good deal or bad? Pros and cons? I head a lot of bad talk about the 1400. This is a later model.

I have a 2002 1230A with 650 hours that chips great , I want /need something bigger/newer.

Your thoughts?

Sounds fishy to me with such low hours I have 1400 that I have put 75 hours on it this year so far. But have a good mechanic go over it with a fine tooth comb and check it out. I bought mine used with 1120 hours all new bearings and knives and have had no issues so far.
