Bearing Replacement SC252

Looking to replace jackshaft and cutter wheel bearings on our SC252.
Never done this before and wondering if its a fairly easy procedure?
Shop gave a quote of 650.00??

You'd probaly have close to $80 in each bearing so $80*4 = $320. You may end up with a shaft depending how long the bearings have been on there.

Once you get the shaft off, take it and the new bearings to a machine shop and have them cut off the old and press on the new. That will save you TONS of time and frustration.

you have to use a straight edge to get the two pulleys in parallel or you will tear the belts up,
