Folks, I have a tree, approximately 40 ft about 16" in diameter. Beavers have it 3/4 of the way cut. The tree's canopy weight distribution, branches seem close to the same weight. It's leaning towards the rural two lane road. Very dark, snowing and windy. What is the best way to cut, can I still notch it? Im not worried if it falls in the road, no issues. I can cut it up and probably won't have any traffic issues. Thanks in advance.

Beavers are good at getting trees to fall where they want them. They will wait until the wind is blowing towards the road then finish cutting/chewing it down.
You could do the same thing if you want it to fall on the road.
