Need help with sawyers board-my "new" M-14 circular mill came with no method of measuring board depth for next cut. Pictures or diagrams would be greatly appreciated. Bob.

I think the log advance arm clicks the log a certain amount each time on a scale? If it is new call the dealer where it came from or Belsaw.

sawyers indicator board

"new" Belsaw is 40 yers old-company out of business.Photos of stationary vertical support arm and horizontal scale plus vertical indicator that moves with the husk would make it possible to manufacture missing parts. Thanks Bob.

not sure just wanted to say i think the old belsaws are cool and like to hear people are still using the old girls..very cool

The sawmill from Belsaw was bought out by Timberking the bandsaw folks.
They still support the circle mill and have a fair selection of parts.
I did some checking and they still have the scaleboard that you need.
You can google them and get an email or I can give it to you.
I have been reassembling my belsaw for a few months now and am close to actually doing something with it.

Regards Chris

Your welcome. That is on my father's machine, I do most of the work on it except hammering the blade every eon. I think Sears even sold the Belsaw once. Mark
