I hadn't heard of proline, but I'll look them up and give them a shot. I'm not paying $80 for a carb that comes out of china regardless of who makes it.

You're paying for quality control.

The Chinese are capable of and willing to supply a product at any quality level someone wants, from literal unfit for purpose garbage all the way up to space and nuclear grade. What level do you want to pay for?

Made in China = junk is not accurate anymore.

Sorry, but AM whatever that is....American Made?

AM products are:
Expensive to the n'th degree if good quality
Rare, since labor is 70% of cost
If found are below par for the price

All chinese carbs I have purchased worked out of the box
a cheap gamble/risk at 20 bucks

Taiwan made products are still the best of both worlds i.e. cost/value
