Best Carb For 044/MS440

Ive noticed several different manufactures of carburators for the 044/440 line of saws. Any of them better than others?

Nope - properly tuned they all work fine.. Personaly, I like the HD17A... with the limiter cap tabs sliced off.

Agreed. I have had some trouble with Zamas, but like I've said before, I think that's due to the age of them rather than a poorly designed carb. All 3 times I've had an HD17A to swap in, and have never bothered to rebuild a Zama.
