Best Chain For This Saw

Hi , I just picked up a new - used 361 saw , I don't think I like the chain that came with it , it dosent look like the one on my 032 , can someone tell me the best chain to use , it has a 18'' bar 3\8 pitch . Thanks TEDMI

I have that same saw with a 20 in bar and I run Husky LV or Stihl RSC. These are flat top chains that offer faster cutting in clean wood but also have increased kickback potential.
Modify the muffler on that saw, have the carb adjust limiters removed and let the chips fly.
BTW what did you give for that saw if you don't mind me asking?
 
used 361 price

I bought the saw for 425.00 out the door , with case and extra chain ,got it at my stihl dealer , ,a sales person bought it last fall cut 3-4 cords of wood with it , he said it was to much saw for him , and wanted a smaller saw , his lose my gain . Thanks TEDMI.
 
Stihl RSC is what I use the most on mine, and I see no reason to look elsewhere. It is fast and smooth in the cut. :rockn:

I also keep one RM chain per bar, for the few occations when I cut dirty wood, or stumps.

If I was borecutting a lot, I would try RSC3 or Oregon 70-series LP.
