What's the best helmet communications setup? I purchased 3 Toughtalk M earmuffs, and have been trying to get a couple of them set up, and haven't attached them to helmets yet. There's a few issues. The noise cancellation doesn't entirely filter out background noise from voice. It might reduce it a bit, but not much. I checked and it the noise cancellation was on in the Sena app. Also, when the headphone is on, there's a soft, slightly high pitched sound (almost a wind-like or ocean wave-like sound as a baseline, possibly from noise cancellation). That is annoying and I can imagine it getting quite annoying if I wore them all day. Has this been your experience? What brand of helmet communication do you prefer? I'm looking to improve communication for myself and my crew so that we can hear each other better and quicker, and shout back and forth less.

I've had 2 iterations of Sena and decided they're not robust enough for tree work. Have had the Stihl comms for around a year and theyve been great, apart from too short a stem on the mic boom, which leads you to be constantly pulling it closer to your mouth; been through 3 mics now. Own 5 sets. Excellent noise cancelling, would buy again.

Where do you get the Stihl Comms? They don't appear to be available in the U.S.
