Best place to buy a 16" bar and chain for a 200t?

Used but in pretty good condition- got it for 300 w/ a 12" bar- would like one a bit longer for removals. Thanks

I prefer Stihl bars and chains. Especially on Stihl saws. I buy from my local dealer who gives me a reasonable price. You may also find what you want on flea bay. I prefer to use the dealer. I feel you get what you pay for. To qualify that statement, I am not as handy with repairs or knowledge as some or many on the Chainsaw Forum. Therefore, service is mission critical for me.

You purchased this for use up in the tree? If so, I prefer the 14". IMO the 16" is just a little more length than you need on that particular saw for canopy work.

I like the Stihl Lightweight Ematic™ guide bar which is 30% lighter than the standard bar. I've been running one for years one my older 020T.

we run 16" on the 200ts baileys tom trees

I use Stihl bars and especially like their chain. (High chrome content means a harder chain). I also prefer the 16" bar on the 200. I rather be looking at the extra length than looking for it.
