Not going off any mathematical calculation......just going my feel and opinion.... what saw do u think has the best power to weight ratio? My vote is the 461 right now. What do u think?

I have ran almost every ported saw with the exception of the 461....I have ran a stock one for a few tanks.

For torque my Mastermind 660 gets through hard gum beautifully with a 36" and quicker than an 088 with a 30". If I remember correctly from the last time I looked, 660 has the best power to weight figure in the Stihl catalogue.

Oh ya! I did run yours Chris! Man I have ran so many saws lately. That saw is what got me thinking about the 461.....it is a monster!

i think I own 2 good candidates. wicked work saw 2260 and a stock 7900.:chainsaw:

If you're asking what saw feels a lot more powerful than what it is, then I'd go for ported 346xp. Reminds me of a jack russel terrier sheep dog i once saw. had to launch itself 2 feet up in the air to get at the sheep, but that dog thought it was 4 feet tall and soon convinced the sheep it was. That saw is becoming more and more my every day saw.
