What was your favorite thread of the year? I pose this as a fair question, not with the idea of digging up any graves, although this may happen! Tell us what thread got your rocks off the most and for what ever reasons! Haywood Jablowme

Any Gypo thread is hilarious especially when he gives chainsaw advice.

ummm, the vast majority of Art's thread covered 2003. I believe the last posting on that thread was only last month. Not that it matters, since we have lost a great contributor here. I guess he just had enough of the petty bullchit and moved on with his life. Art has lots to share and I guess he moved on to share it with people who aren't trying to tear him down or bicker over semantics.

If you see this, Art, I thank you for what you have shared with all of us.

I have to agree whole heartedly with Brian on this one. It really sucks when a bunch of newcomers lay a bunch of bu!!$hit on a thread and forum that is supposed to benefit people and our industry. Some of which seemed to join just for these reasons. I hope that maybe, just maybe Art will return to enlighten us in the future!

Nutty Squirrel

I didn't bring up Art, squirrel, If you've got a favorite thread written in "2003" bring it up!

Does anyone out there actually believe that Mr. C expected to get anything other than the answer he was looking for? I therefore voted for "Greffardized".

I would have voted for "This is an Outrage", but unfortunately most of the initial elements and pictures in that post leave me thinking that Seconal is a stimulant.

"Gypo is the most entertaining by far though and probably the brightest one here. High IQ can be very strange."

I think I'd like to change my vote now that I've read TreeCo's reply. THIS comment makes this the most hilarious post in all of AS history. It's also the biggest dis' of AS members' intelligence in AS history. Where'd you go to school, Tree? Disco Tech? Why not take the graduate course; "How to Have a Productive and Self Confident Life" next semester up at Ballinafad University. After you graduate, you too will have a high IQ.

Mind reader

dBabcock, what was the answer I was looking for? I posted a fair question about the 2003 threads. You and your fine feathered friends should take it for what its worth, think back on some of the past 2003 threads and say which ones you liked. Just like you, posting back up some of the old threads here lately. Were you looking for some answer, I hope not.
Rich Hoffman, I still don't remember you saying what 2003 thread you enjoyed.

threads

Well Dennis C, If you don't want to hear Art Martin will the Real Logger Please Stand Up because it ran across the years, Do you want to limit this to threads that begin with D? More chances someone might vote for yours? NOT! I'll get it started by using a thread with some D's in it.

DozerDans Frankenstein: Dolmar PP7900, Not just because the sound effects are good. Not just because I bought one and love the way it cuts. The saw is a good one. Instead of hot air and ostentatious brattle, hey wouldn't you know it, his saws blow the chips and french fries like snow falling. They are good in the wood (ash, cherry, maple, hickory, oak, walnut even spruce and hemlock).

If Rich doesn't quit showing off the PP346's he got, I'm going to have to get one or two to go with my, "I Believe" it has a chainbrake and I use the chainbrake, top handled Husky trim saw.

Don't feel bad Dennis, I did like the cooking over the firewood pic.

I think the Gypo logger posts of 2001- 03 were the best, even if I say so myself, and why wouldn't I? I am also the best looking, most intellegint, (as indicated above, thanks TC and SB), as well as the most revered chainsaw nerd in history.
P.S., where's Russ, not only will he vote for me, (as well as most others), but I contacted him about the 346 fest but got no reply. He must be wire brushing his chains before grinding or doing some onehanded Sumac falling.
