Hey Gypo! He I is!

Wire brushing chains? Did I say that? Now one handed, stump jumping sumac I do have to admit to. I`d venture a guess that we`ve all done atleast one or two stupid things in our glorious lives. I could tell you more, but the statute of limitations in all affected jurisdictions has not run out yet.

I don`t recall getting the message regarding the 346 fest, in fact I tried to email you and got a message that you were over quota, but that you would somehow be contacted. I have two yahoo addresses and both have been bombarded of late with all manner stuff, norse........r is primarily filled with porn and normally I`d say d@mn the bad luck but I`m not into fat, mature, twink boys, or bestial. Some great friends I have, huh? The other is filled with all of the same stuff, but that`s only because I made the mistake of signing up with Yahoo personals. I`ve also tried calling you but only get an answering service for Humphrey Dumbrowski, which incidentally has not resulted in any calls back from you. So let me know how to contact you and I will provide you with a new means of contacting me.

BTW, of course I`d vote for any number of Gypo Logger threads as my favorite, although this one has a few endearing qualities  .

Rich Hoffman, I still don't remember you saying what 2003 thread you enjoyed.

I have to agree whole heartedly with Brian on this one. It really sucks when a bunch of newcomers lay a bunch of bu!!$hit on a thread and forum that is supposed to benefit people and our industry. Some of which seemed to join just for these reasons. I hope that maybe, just maybe Art will return to enlighten us in the future!

What part of that didn't you understand!

All kidding aside, Art Martin's thread is easily the best not only because of Art's willingness to share his experiences with us, but by the overwhelmingly positive interaction between forum members that it generated.

Doug

I`m in agreement with you regarding the "Art" thread. Show me another thread or even a topic discussed in multiple threads on any forum that has had nearly 25,000 views! We must have liked something about that thread.

On Dennis C`s behalf I will say that atleast he hasn`t picked on any new guys with sincere questions or thoughts, mostly just the other sh!t shovelers, with a few innocent bystander casualties. :D

I've talked to Dennis C. on a couple of occasions and don't have any personal issues with him either. He's also been a good friend of Ken Dunn's for a number of years, which is certainly a positive attribute as far as I'm concerned.

With the UTMOST respect for Mr. Martin, you have to be a bit thick-skinned to last on any of the on-line forums I have seen. There are always one or two piss tanks (I love that term, Gypo!) who will try to ruin it for everyone else. And they usually have a name like Phil McCracken. You just have to get past it and forge ahead.

I would go for the Art Martin thread as well. I have a strong interest in logging as it used to be, and love to listen to the old-timers (including my dad) talk about the way logging was.

I hope Mr. Martin will be back.

Boys, if your going to run the years together, then I'm gonna have to change my pick. "Best Way to Cut Down Trees" is my choice. That thread was a dirty low down trick, but funny as hell! I've read this thread 2 or 3 times now, and laughed my ass off. It doesn't matter who they conned, it was the wit and colaborated story telling by "Ginger and her friends" that was so funny! I also appreciate the irony that those who are now the quickest to criticize any teasing, and demand that this be a purely "educational" site were the same ones who were ball deep in the Ginger scam.
My second choice would have to be "Screens and Muffler Mods" by Rich Hoffman. Very informative thread for the average chainsaw nerd.
Keep your chain out of the mud,
Haywood Jablowme
P.S. Would the real Ginger please stand up???

Yes, it's a very big responsibity for me to try and "fix", all these people who are socially challenged.
Take Doug for example, he has a personality like a toilet seat, but that doesn't mean we dont like him. There are others here also that are universaly repelant, but time makes one use to oneself.
As Tony indicated, there is good in everyone, it's just a matter of finding it. On the other hand, I am not debilitated with these negative attributes, and why would I be?
Are there any teachers on board? Maybe we all should get a yearend report card.
Remember, you cant get rid of a bad temper by loosing it- Jack Nicholson.

Hi Dennis- Nerd Boy, ya, I remember when Ginger first appeared. The original Ginger couldn't do a woman right, so I volunteered to do Ginger. Art soon caught on and went right along with it.
Since then the password has been forgotten, but I must say I really enjoyed being her, I got in touch with my feminine side then. I will never forget the night I was pushing Robert Andrews in a Walmart shopping cart along the highway to Lake Tahoe, both of us all tanked up going to visit the real Ginger. Was that you and Tommy Fales who drove by and threw beer bottles at us?
