Bidding/performing/payment on removals and stump grinding

hi all! I am wondering how you do it when you do jobs? Our practice is to bid removals and stumps separately, perform them on separate days and we expect to be paid for the removal before doing the stump grinding.
How does everyone else handle this situation? What is your method?

We bid our removals and stumps separately also. They are performed on different days. If the stump is going to be ground promptly, however, we will let the client wait and pay for the whole job at one time. If there is a delay, we will ask for payment on the removal at time of service.
