Yet again my faithful 1956 Caterpillar D7 “Daisy Etta “ comes to the rescue
This previous clip shows her pulling the Matbro Teleporter out of trouble plus large tree
This time the Matbro slid into the mud on the edge of the lake, and the more I tried to drag or push myself out using the telescopic boom the worse it became.
I had the other Matbro on site which is slightly heavier at about seven tons but it could not move it even with the 270 spinning.
I was left on my own so went back and collected Daisy Etta plus a Chinook Helicopter line they used for carrying equipment, same as the one in the video
Nobody to drive the Matbro so I thought I would see if twenty tons of D7 could pull it out uphill. Absolutely no problem! Didn’t even grunt! No track slip either
Thank you USA for your finest machine. She started first time as usual with the donkey engine having stood for most of the year
