Not really, but this is my fiance's first tree that she has ever cut down. There wasn't a whole lot in danger if it went the wrong way so i figured wha tthe heck. She used my 362 to make the notch and the back cut. Then i took the 362 and she used my 5100s do do some of the limbing. She did a pretty dang good job if you ask me. It fell right where i was hoping it would.

Good job

Looks like she did well. Congratulations to her and your assistance.:biggrinbounce2:

With chainsaws and trees I agree with you, there is ALWAYS danger involved.:)

Thanks for the pics!

I'm happy. You could tell she was a little unsure but even i am sometimes too. It deffinetly takes a load off of me doing most of the work.

felling

She did a good job for her first tree!;) :D  :rockn:

First one always good for a pounding heart and a bit of nerves. Nice choice, it had a good lean. Well done. :)

I'll get some photos of her tonight. I have 6 or 7 pine trees about the same size to cut down by the end of the weekend so i'll get some good photos of her cuttin' But i'm saving the pics. of her in some a$$-less chaps for my personal collection.

looks mighty fine job for first tree (expect the mile high stump)

LOL. yeah i know, i cut it down ground level for her. I haven't graduated her to "faller" yet, but i've got some trees that she can practice on with-out being in danger of anything.
