I like mine, but not nearly as much as PU does his. Social life in Indiana must be kinda slow these days...

Blaze holds a variety of hitches well. Milks a little, no big deal. Too dynamic for efficiency w some ascension methods. It wouldn't be my first choice for a lanyard cuz it is nickable, but it is my favorite climbing line right now.

Yep, TS.....PU seems a bit oddly enamored of his Blaze, eh?!!

I haven't used mine much yet but love it. And, you should note the Sherrill catalog has a table of lifeline properties listed. It shows Blaze to elongate 2.2% under bodyweight...same as the much larger and stronger Samson Arbormaster. No lifeline has less stretch. Well, if you believe the specs, anyhow.

Blaze is rated at 11mm!!!

yes it is. Now load it with climber wieght and equipment and measure it. .... 8.5 mm UNDER LOAD

thats what i meant...not that it was a 8.5 mm climbing line.

ALL rope are smaller (diameter) when loaded. My 9/16" rope measures in BELOW 1/2" when loaded.

I never noticed...................doesn't matter though.................there are very few compalints about the "Blaze"!!!
